رویت موفق هلال شامگاهی ربیع الاول 1436 انگیزه ویژه ای برای رویت هلال صبحگاهی این ماه در گروه ایجاد کرد. به طوری که برآورد میکردیم در صورت وجود شرایط ایده آل بتوانیم عکسی از هلال را با تکنیک مشابه عکس هلال ربیع الاول به ثبت برسانیم. از سوی دیگر نیم نگاهی به رویت آن هم داشتیم و امکان رویت را منتفی نمی دانستیم. روز پیش از رصد، برای بررسی دقیق تر افق شرقی به منطقه رفتیم و به این نتیجه رسیدیم که اگر هوا مناسب باشد ، افق نقطه مورد نظر برای رویت این هلال قابل قبول خواهد بود.

بامداد سه شنبه از ساعت 3:45 در رصدگاه حاضر شدیم و با کمک گرفتن از چند ستاره، به بررسی دقیقتر محل طلوع ماه پرداختیم و بار دیگر محل طلوع ماه را به دقت مشخص کردیم. بر این باور بودیم که تنها شانس رویت این هلال در ارتفاع نیم تا 1.5 درجه خواهد بود. سرمای منفی 8 درجه سلسیوس مانع بزرگی در کار نبود ولی متاسفانه وجود رطوبت 80 درصدی تا حدودی شعاع دید را کاهش داده بود. به هرحال در شرایط موجود رویت هلال نتیجه ای در بر نداشت ولی فرصت مغتنمی برای محک زدن رویت چنین هلالهایی در زیر حد دانژن بود.
